Abstract
Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing drug discovery by significantly reducing the time and cost associated with developing new therapeutics. This paper explores how AI models are utilized to predict drug-target interactions, optimize molecular structures, and repurpose existing drugs. Case studies on AI-driven breakthroughs in combating diseases such as COVID-19 and cancer are presented. The paper also addresses challenges, including data quality, model interpretability, and the integration of AI tools within traditional pharmaceutical workflows.
