Abstract

AI is emerging as a critical tool in public health for predicting and managing disease outbreaks. This paper investigates the role of machine learning and big data analytics in tracking disease spread, modeling infection patterns, and optimizing resource allocation during pandemics. Case studies on AI applications in managing COVID-19 and other infectious diseases are presented. The paper also discusses challenges such as data availability, algorithm bias, and the need for cross-border collaborations to harness AI's full potential in global health.
