Abstract

AI is revolutionizing rehabilitation medicine by enabling personalized therapy plans and real-time monitoring of patient progress. This paper reviews the use of AI in designing adaptive rehabilitation programs for conditions such as stroke, spinal injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Applications include wearable sensors for tracking movement, AI-driven feedback systems for improving exercises, and predictive models for optimizing recovery timelines. The paper also addresses challenges related to patient adherence, data integration, and the need for clinician-AI collaboration in therapeutic decision-making.
